Making Finance Work for Africa (MFW4A), the European Investment Bank (EIB) and BMCE Bank of Africa are pleased to organize the third of a series of webinars related to the latest EIB survey on Banking in Sub-Saharan Africa. This webinar, titled “Recent Trends in the Banking Sectors in West and Central Africa” will be held in French.

“Banking in Africa: Delivering on Financial Inclusion, Supporting Financial Stability” is the 2018 flagship publication of the EIB economics department. The report analyses key trends and dynamics of African banking sectors, as well as structural issues of strategic importance. A focus has been placed on the banking contribution to MSME financing and financial inclusion.
This session will explore recent trends in the banking sectors in West and Central Africa, relying on a survey of banking groups operating in these regions.
